Mark-making is, for me, a meditative state. No matter whether I am working in paint or pencil, my goal is to create moments of deep feeling—often inspired by the passing of time and my own childhood memories—through an economy of shapes and strokes. Each work represents intimate details that are often overlooked in daily routine.
