A former teacher and translator, I turned to the language of mosaic five years ago as a way to express memory, feminine experience, and shared humanity. Faithful to 4,000 years of tradition, I cut all materials by hand and place the tiny pieces into cement in order to tell a story. I hope that timelessness resonates and brokenness becomes beauty.
